After a very stressful day, yesterday, Sunday, and calling multiple companies that claimed to offer 24-hour emergency services (but never answered), Portas & Fechaduras was a breath of fresh air. Mr. António Nunes actually answered the phone when I called for an urgent issue with our door locks. He immediately asked for photos of the problem, took the time to understand the situation, and asked whether it was an absolute emergency. I explained that while it wasn’t life-threatening, we were unable to access the home and would greatly appreciate help early the next morning. He promised to be there Monday morning—and he delivered. Mr. Nuno arrived promptly at 8:25 a.m., exactly as promised. From start to finish, his professionalism was exceptional. He demonstrated excellent customer service, clear and reassuring communication, and impressive technical knowledge—especially when working with older and more fragile doors that require extra care. He installed two new locking systems in just an hour and a half (and there was a lot of work involved), worked efficiently, and even cleaned up all debris afterward. Truly above and beyond. We are extremely happy we found Mr. Nunes and Portas & Fechaduras. Every other company we managed to reach offered appointments “sometime later in the week” or even the following week—despite us explaining that the house was inaccessible. Thanks to Portas & Fechaduras, the issue was resolved just in time for expats moving into the home an hour later. They were absolutely thrilled—and so were we. O Sr. António Nunes atendeu mesmo o telefone quando liguei devido a um problema urgente com as fechaduras da nossa porta. Ele pediu imediatamente fotos do problema, dedicou tempo a compreender a situação e perguntou se se tratava de uma emergência absoluta. Expliquei que, embora não fosse uma situação de vida ou morte, não conseguíamos aceder à casa e seria muito apreciado se pudesse vir ajudar logo na manhã seguinte. Ele prometeu estar presente na segunda-feira de manhã – e cumpriu. O Sr. Nuno chegou pontualmente às 8h25, exatamente como prometido. Do início ao fim, o profissionalismo dele foi excepcional. Demonstrou excelente atendimento ao cliente, comunicação clara e tranquilizadora, e um conhecimento técnico impressionante — especialmente ao lidar com portas mais antigas e frágeis, que exigem cuidado extra. Instalou dois novos sistemas de fechaduras em apenas uma hora e meia (e havia bastante trabalho a fazer), trabalhou de forma eficiente e ainda limpou todos os detritos no final. Verdadeiramente acima e além do esperado. Estamos extremamente felizes por termos encontrado o Sr. Nunes e a Portas & Fechaduras. Todas as outras empresas que conseguimos contactar só ofereciam horários “mais tarde na semana” ou até na seguinte — mesmo depois de explicarmos que a casa estava inacessível. Graças à Portas & Fechaduras, o problema foi resolvido a tempo de expatriados mudarem-se para a casa uma hora depois. Ficaram absolutamente satisfeitos — e nós também.
